Grieg Green is looking for qualified and experienced HazMat Experts to join our IHM team!
Grieg Green specializes in environmentally friendly and sustainable ship- and offshore recycling and Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM). We are one of few suppliers that are approved by six major Class Societies, namely DNV-GL, Lloyds Register, ABS, ClassNK, BV and CCS. By joining Grieg Green you will be part of a team of highly qualified HazMat Experts offering our services to customers worldwide!
Tasks and responsibilities:
- development of “Visual Sampling and Check Plan”;
- take samples onboard vessels;
- preparation of required documentation;
- liaise with class societies (DNV-GL, ClassNK, ABS, LR etc.);
- and other relevant work.
Preferable Technical/Professional Qualifications/Requirements:
- Able to obtain visa worldwide
- Offshore Safety Training like HUET; Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System etc.
- Proficiency in English
- Be a team player
- Hazmat Expert approval by multiple class societies
- Location worldwide
